Peter Gene Hernandez more popularly known as Bruno Mars is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born on October 8, 1985 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He grew up in Hawaii along with his musically inclined family. He then moved to Los Angeles California after finishing high school in order to pursue his singing aspirations.
He started his career as a songwriter for various artists such as Travie McCoy and B.o.B. wherein he also lent them vocals. In October 2010, he released his first album named Doo-Wops & Hooligans where it received numerous positive reviews. Currently, he has been nominated for 7 Grammy awards and has won Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for his song “Just The Way You Are.” His second album named Unorthodox Jukebox was released in December 2012.
