Salma Hayek, a Mexican producer, actress and director, was born on 2nd of September 1966, in the city of Coatzacoalcos. She is from a rich family, as her father Sami Hayek was an oil company executive, and her mother Diana, was a semi popular opera singer.
Salma started her acting career in Mexico where she was starred in ‘Telenovela Teresa’ show. In the year 2004, she won a ‘Daytime Emmy Award’ for an Outstanding Direction of “The Maldonado Miracle”.
Hayek completed her studies in “International Relations” from a university in Mexico, “Universidad Iberoamericana”. .She starred as a guest appearance in comedy TV series “30 Rock”, since 2009 till mid-2013.
